Brooke starts school (2 year old MDO)

Brooke (and I) started back at Mother's Day Out.  Brooke has moved up to the young 2 year old class and i will be right next door in the older 2 year old class.  My class will go out on the playground, adventure room, and chapel with Brooke's class.  We also share a bathroom.  I am excited that i will get to spend lots of time with her, even at work!!  One of her teachers is the same as last year, and Brooke LOVES her.  I know this is going to be a great year for both of us!

2nd Day of School

Doctor Checkups

Graham had his 5 year checkup and Brooke had her 2 year checkup today..  Here are their stats:

Graham: Height 3ft 8 3/8inches     Weight 40.8lbs

Brooke: Height 2ft 10 1/2 inches (75%)    Weight 25lbs 13oz. (25%)

Everyone did good.  The doctor asked Graham if he wanted the Flu Shot or Flu Mist..  He said "well obviously i don't want the shot"...  Silly boy!!  They both got the flu mist!!!

Summer of Fun.... comes to an end

Iain had to go back to work today.  We enjoyed having him home ALL summer.  He was home for over 3 months, which is the longest amount of time we have EVER been together in our 9 years!  I enjoyed having a somewhat normal summer/life.  The kids LOVED having their daddy here everyday. Today we took him to the airport.

Brooke turns 2!!

Brooke turned 2 on August 25.  We had a few of her friends over that morning to celebrate and that night, the family came over to celebrate.  Brooke enjoyed her Elmo themed parties!!  For her birthday, Brooke recieved a HUGE dollhouse and accessories, McWane Science Center membership, Zoo Membership, Dreamlite pillow, books, toys, and money for her savings account.  Happy Birthday Brooke Kerr Steel.   We love you, little princess!!

Graham rides the bus home!!

Graham has been begging to ride the bus, even before school started.  I told him he could ride on Wednesday, on his 3rd day of school.  After sitting in car rider line for over an hour, i was ready for him to ride the bus.  The good news is.......He LOVES it!!

Graham's 1st day of Kindergarten

Graham started Kindergarten today.  He was so excited.  We all loaded up and took him to school.  I went up to the school at lunch to help.  I was so happy to see him.  He was having SO much fun and didn't miss us at all!  He is such a big boy and LOVES school.  I picked him up in car rider line, but he said he wanted to ride the bus.  I told him he could in a couple of days.  So proud of my big boy!!

McWane Science Center

We took the kids to McWane.  Big Daddy bought Brooke a year membership for her birthday (it was an early birthday present).  The kids had fun playing on all the new attractions. 

Graham's 1st Golf Camp

Iain took Graham to his very first golf camp.  Graham had fun and learned lots!
