London Olympics 2012

We enjoyed the olympics this year from the comfort of our living room.  We did lots of learning exercises and the kids LOVED it.  We made olympic torches, homemade fingerpaint to paint the olympic flag.  We also put up a map we borrowed from my mom.  We made some flags of some countries that Graham has visited and marked them on the map.

Graham turns 5!!

 Our first born turned 5 on July 9th!!  We spent his birthday going to Chuck E. Cheese.  Then we celebrated the next weekend with family and friends.  He chose to have an angry bird birthday party.  It is hard to believe it has been 5 years!  Happy 5th Birthday Graham Owen Steel!! You are a smart, loving, kind hearted, bike riding, video game obsessed, quick witted, funny, dancing, handsome boy. You now laugh everyday when I beg you to not go to kindergarten this year. You are so excited and ready for big school!! We are so proud of you and love you so much!!  For his birthday, he received a zip line for the backyard, a Nintendo DS and a few games, a dream lite pillow, and some money to put in his savings account.  What a lucky boy!!
